Norman House features a new, modern sunroom addition onto an existing, two-storey century home. The house’s history — with original construction beginning in 1839 — inspired us to design a minimalist modern sunroom that considers sustainability while respecting its original character. The sunroom’s transparency frames the Norman House’s landscape and highlights the beauty of its stone walls. Formed to optimize the amount of daylight, the sunroom nevertheless shades the room at the sun’s peak, preventing extra heat gain. This project truly embodies what our team is about: inspired, thoughtful design for sustainability!
